My dad pointed out a good op-ed piece from Sunday’s LA Times. It’s written by Michael Shermer, Editor for Skeptic Magazine, about Anonymous’ attack on the CoS, Church of Scientology. Check it out here. For more information about Anonymous, search it in google, I’m sure as hell not going to piss them off by linking to their page.

Cat Le-Huy went to Dubai on vacation. Cat Le-Huy was stopped at customs. Cat Le-Huy was found to be in possession of Melatonin. The Dubai customs officials viewed this as an illegal drug. Cat Le-Huy was search, urine tested, and found to be in possession of 0.01 grams of hashish, which was found in the bottom of his bag and which he claims to be dirt. He’s being charged with a 4-year sentence for this. Sound’s like a great vacation, huh?!? Sure as hell beats out Singapore, where if they found that much pot on you, they’d put you to death. You can read more about it here and here.
